Ryan Gallucci is the deputy director of the National Veterans Service for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, or VFW. He is responsible for the VFW's military transition and veterans' benefits portfolios, as well as working with federal agencies and policy-makers to ensure that veteran programs meet the needs of an ever-changing veterans' community. After serving in Iraq as an Army Civil Affairs specialist, Ryan used his GI Bill benefits to earn a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science from the University of Rhode Island.
