Retired Marine veteran Andrew Tahmooressi, 26, who spent the past eight months in a Mexican jail was released Friday night after an order from a Mexican judge. Tahmooressi, who was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, was detained earlier in 2014 when he crossed into the country with loaded guns.
According to Military Times, the case marks one of the first times that Mexico made a ruling on based on PTSD.
