Are You the Household Chauffeur?

Are you the household chauffeur? Do you find yourself picking up one child, rushing to drop another off?

And do you find yourself saying you’re NOT doing this ripping and running next month? If you answered, yes! You’re not alone.

As parents, we often feel bad about NOT wanting to do it. Trust me. It’s ok to feel that way. It’s even ok to say NO sometimes.

Before adding events, activities, etc. to your plate, take a look at your current schedule. Can you add three practices a week to your calendar? Are you able to get one child to dance practice and the other to a scout meeting on the same day?

Look at your availability before committing. The commitment just isn’t coming from your child. You’re making that commitment too.
