Ellen DeGeneres, comedian and host of daytime talk show Ellen, is known for her big heart . . . and her surprises. The military community knows about her generosity. A number of families have received the Ellen treatment throughout the show’s history.

This year, Ellen is back at it. She recently put out an all-call for military families. A post on Ellen.com states:
