But you probably wouldn’t think of military spouses . . . until now.

One of the most famous chefs on TV is looking for military spouses who want to improve their cooking skills and surprise their partner. The casting call through Cara Casting, a nationwide casting and talent agency specializing in commercials and reality TV shows, asks:

Are you a military spouse who’s been left alone with the kids and could use an extra hand? Do you have trouble in the kitchen? Want to surprise your better half by learning some new culinary skills before they return?

Those who are interested can apply via an online form or by emailing info@caracasting.com. It’s not clear what show the all-call is for, but we know we can’t wait to tune in and watch a military spouse get a little help from a cooking icon.

Updated 3/10/17:

Through a post on Facebook, Blue Star Families is encouraging military spouses to throw their hat into the Gordon Ramsay Ring. According to BSF, applications can be submitted through foodshowcasting.com, as well, with the notation “military spouse” as the reason for submission.
