Love Hello Kitty? Maybe you miss being stationed in Japan. Or perhaps you just want to see a huge cultural phenomenon in person.
Whatever your reasons are, if you’re in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, you’ll want to check out the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck on Pentagon Row. The truck will be open and selling food as well as souvenirs from 10 AM to 8 PM; however, it’s very possible that the truck will sell out long before closing time.
When the truck made an appearance in Chicago, some folks drove more than five hours and many stood in line only to be disappointed by an early sell-out. If you’re not sure if it’s worth what will probably be a long wait, check out this review of the truck by PopSugar.
Not in D.C.? There is actually an “East” and “West” version of the truck so that it can make appearances on both coasts. The food truck has announced other events around the country:
- April 8: San Francisco
- April 15: Baltimore
- April 15: Portland
- April 22: Philadelphia
- April 22: Seattle
- April 29: Paramus, NJ
- April 29: Salt Lake City
For dates and specific locations, make sure to view the Hello Kitty Cafe’s Facebook page and events where information is updated and announced.
