This is my first shot at blogging…SURPRISE!

My mother-in-law makes the best brisket.  I think I make it just as well now that I have had 15 years of practice!  We eat this recipe year round, but the first time I ever had it was during Passover.  It is one of my family’s favorite recipes.  Did I mention that I have three boys under the age of 10?  I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!  Oh yeah, and it is crazy easy to make!

I use a 2 lb center cut brisket.  Make sure it has a layer of fat on it.  Don’t worry, you can skim the fat off when it is all cooked.

1 can of beer.  Miller Lite will do the trick.  It doesn’t have to be fancy.

1 jar of chili sauce

1 medium onion, sliced

1 small bunch of celery sliced

Stick all ingredients in your crock pot and cook on low all day

Serve over egg noodles (the traditional way), whole wheat egg noodles or quinoa (my way)
