There’s an App for that! MyMilitaryLife –One Stop Shop for your Needs
Everyone’s seen the images of a traveling circus: a happy group of jugglers, acrobats, and exotic animals going from town to town for performances before packing up and getting back on another deserted dirt road. This chaotic lifestyle will likely stay in the realm of fantasy for most, but for military families, there might be some familiarity. With kids, careers, education, deployments, and continual relocation all needing time and attention, it can be difficult to know how to corral everything and get your family on the trail to success.
Understanding this hardship, the National Military Family Association created a free mobile app, MyMilitaryLife, to help families manage the many adventures your military life takes you on. Designed to anticipate your every need and answer questions specific to your current situation, the application connects you with important information both at home and on the go. There is a lot of information out there, so much that it is often difficult to quickly find exactly what you need. We take care of that part for you by putting everything in one place, building a one-stop community of trusted, reliable, and up-to-date resources.
MyMilitaryLife currently features three life paths or categories; spouse education, separation or retirement, and deployment. In early 2013, eight new life paths will be added, covering areas such as spouse employment, raising kids, and reintegration. By creating a user profile, you will receive information specific to your Service branch, location, and needs. MyMilitaryLife will send information to military families that impact their daily lives and help support them to best prepare for whatever comes next. Along with important information, upcoming features of MyMilitaryLife will allow military spouses to connect with one another by sharing information and giving feedback on what programs really work.
Whatever life path you may be preparing to travel, MyMilitaryLife will give you the tools to make this the smoothest journey yet. Learn more by visiting our website, or download MyMilitaryLife from the iTunes or Google Play stores today!
