On Sunday the Army turned 245 years old — but if you ask me, they don't look a day over 240.

The service's Facebook page posted a virtual celebration of sorts on Sunday, taken at the National Museum of the U.S. Army, which was expected to open earlier this month, but had to push back its debut because of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Army leaders were joined in the video by Gen. Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and Dr. Deborah Birx, the coordinator for the White House's coronavirus response, who started her career as an Army physician at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

“This 245th birthday, I am standing tall with more than one million U.S. soldiers who wear the U.S. Army tape above their heart every day,” Grinston said in the video. “My squad and I are ready because of the millions who came before us — those who showed us what it means to be Army strong.”

Hooah, Army.
