Man dies after being stabbed at the Pentagon’s public transit stop

The man who was stabbed died after being taken to a local hospital, police said

A man died on Monday after being stabbed at the Pentagon stop on the public transit system for Washington, D.C, according to Metro Transit Police.

Police responded to the stabbing about 9 a.m. on the Pentagon station’s lower level platform, Metro Transit Police tweeted on Monday.

“The victim, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased,” the tweet says.

No more information was immediately available.

Later on Monday, Metro Transit Police tweeted that Vincent Wilson, 27, was arrested on a warrant for second degree murder in connection with the stabbing death.
