
Leadership with Marine Special Operations Command is assessing its standards in preparation for integrating female Marines into critical skills operator roles, which may come early next year. So far, MARSOC has not opened its doors to female Marines, but that could change.
“We're bringing in folks to conduct a review of our standards within MARSOC and our training pipeline,” said Maj. Gen. Joseph Osterman, MARSOC commander to Marine Corps Times. “Just to make sure that we've got a good objective set of gender-neutral standards that are there.”
