# Pentagon identifies soldier who died from a non-combat incident in Jordan

The Pentagon has identified the soldier who died from a non-combat incident on Tuesday as Army Spc. Nick Bravo Regules.

- In an emailed statement to reporters, the DoD said Regules, 20, died in Jordan while supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.
- Regules, who is from Largo, Florida, was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 43rd Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 11th ADA Brigade out of Fort Bliss, Texas.
- Regules was supporting operations in the Central Command area of responsibility, the statement said, which includes Iraq and Syria.
- The soldier's death remains under investigation, the statement said.
