This week on Task & Purpose Radio’s The Warzone, Patrick, Adam, and Lauren discuss the classic 80s military comedy, Stripes. Starring Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, and John Candy, the film was fully approved by the Pentagon and filmed on site at Fort Knox. Army officials hoped it would help increase recruitment numbers and sure enough, they saw a 10% spike. If it’s been awhile since you’ve seen the story of John Winger (Bill Murray) then tune in and hear the perspective of three people who popped it back into the ol’ VHS after not seeing it for years.
