“You’re here and you’re 102 years old, and you say, 'Man, this is where I started,’” said retired Air Force test pilot Gerhard Schriever as he climbed in the cockpit of a vintage Boeing PT-17 Stearman on Thursday.

At an event put on by the Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation, former World War II pilots like Schriever were given the chance to fly the PT-17 Stearman aircraft they learned to pilot as young airmen.
