Army veterans Steven Escobar and Jerry Peavey never imagined their years as infantrymen would lead to work in the banking industry. After serving their country, both wanted to take their civilian lives in a new direction. You’re untouchable. You’re free. You have your DD-214, and your last paycheck burning a hole in your pocket. Time to hop in that Ford F-150 that you financed at 20% and roar past the base gates for a road trip back to your hometown.
Americans have “got to make a choice,” Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz from Utah told CNN this morning, referring to his party’s plan to repeal and replace Obamacare. “So rather than getting that new iPhone that they just love and want to go spend hundreds of dollars on that, maybe they should invest in their own health care.”
