Disney has released their pricing and discount information for military families for 2018 at both Disney World and Disneyland. According to their official website, both amusement resorts will continue their popular military discount program into next year, offering a variety of promotional theme park tickets.

Taking a vacation on the cheap is tough, no matter who you are, but for military personnel often stuck planning a trip at the last minute (because leave dates weren’t released until two weeks before, naturally) it can break the bank.

For 25 years, Donnie Dunagan was a Marine’s Marine. A highly decorated combat veteran who served in Vietnam, Dunagan was promoted 13 times in 21 years and rose from the enlisted ranks before being commissioned as an officer and retiring as a major. He even served as a drill instructor, transforming soft and sappy recruits into hard and mean Marines.
Swords may seem outdated and obsolete, but it wasn’t that long ago that they were still being used in battle. During the American Revolution and through the Civil War, swords remained a common sight on the battlefield. In fact, it wasn’t until after World War I that they stopped being issued to American troops, with the Patton cavalry saber the last sword issued to U.S. military personnel in 1918.
