President-elect Donald Trump has offered the position of interior secretary to ex-Navy Seal commander, Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke. Politico reported that Zinke has yet to publicly comment about whether or not he will accept the position, and his office has not yet responded to inquiries regarding the nomination.

While NBC News has reported that President-elect Donald Trump’s advisors, retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and retired Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, crossed out a number of leading candidates for national security and intelligence positions, including Marine Gen. James Mattis, Marine Gen. Peter Pace, Navy Adm. William McRaven, and former House Intelligence chairman Mike Rogers.
