After years of being told where to live, and how long to stay, once a person leaves military service, where do they live?


The Military Times’ George Altman has compiled a list of the top cities for veterans, broken down by city size, and ranked based on military culture and services, economic indicators, and livability factors like crime, traffic, and school quality. Of large cities, Virginia Beach, Virginia, ranked number one, followed by Colorado Springs, Colorado, and San Antonio, Texas, respectively.

The Coast Guard is officially shit outta luck for a paycheck thanks to the government shutdown, which means that zero coasties have been paid to create some of the amazing memes being shared as a way to vent their frustration.
