Preventative Maintenance Technician

Lineman Apprentice

This is a four-year apprenticeship with Xcel Energy with good pay and a path to management roles. While the job posting says you need a commercial driver’s license to apply, it’s a little more flexible — you just need to be able to get one within a month of starting. If you have personality and like working with people, this job with AT&T; as a wire technician would be a good fit. You’ll be going on different routes every day, installing wire and coordinated services in residential settings.
