Steve Danyluk is a retired Marine lieutenant colonel with a combined 32 years of military service in both the active component and the reserve forces. After returning from a ground combat tour, Steve worked wounded issues for one year in Washington, DC, and then founded The Independence Fund. Steve currently is heading a project called "The Spartan Weekend" aimed at reducing the excessively high suicide rate in the active forces and the military veteran communities.
