When separating from the military, it can be daunting to find employment that directly correlates to your military occupational specialty. But you don’t have to be limited by your MOS.

While the skills you have cultivated through your MOS may not be directly applicable in the civilian world, the military characteristics of resourcefulness and perseverance are.

In order to find your civilian occupational specialty, you first need to decide what you really want to do. Once you choose a direction, you can set goals to get there. And along the way, you can also find mentors to help cultivate a successful civilian career.
