At Task & Purpose, we believe in helping veterans climb the ranks of every sector of the American economy.
And there’s little quite as American as professional sports.
That’s why Hirepurpose has teamed with the Sports and Entertainment Alliance in Technology conference in Miami this summer to educate veterans and transitioning service members about sports marketing and technology careers.
Selected veterans will be invited to attend a two-day conference in Miami Beach from July 20-22 with more than 700 executives from professional and college sports teams and venues.
The highlights of the event include a tour of the Marlins’ and Dolphins’ stadiums and a panel on transitioning from a military career to a career in sports and entertainment, moderated by Hirepurpose’s founder and CEO, Zach Iscol.
Also slated to appear on the panel are Brandon McNulty, a Navy veteran and the Chief Technology Officer of the International Speedway Corporation; Chip Suttles, a Navy veteran and the Vice President of Technology for the Seattle Seahawks. John Avenson, a Marine veteran and the Vice President of Technology for the Minnesota Twins; Denise Taylor, who as Chief Information Officer for AEG Worldwide employs several Veterans in her organization; and Jack Sumner, a Navy veteran and the Chief Information Officer for the Ladies Professional Golf Association.
