Every week, in cities across the United States, thousands of tickets are available to veterans, service members, and family members of those killed in action, enabling them go to major sports games, concerts, and a whole host of other ticketed events. And all the tickets are free — except for a very small delivery fee — from the nonprofit Veteran Tickets Foundation, or Vet Tix.
October is full of fun opportunities, from football games to elaborate haunted houses. So before the chill of winter arrives, Vet Tix wants to help you get out in your community for some free fun with friends and family.
Below are 13 of the major events we are currently distributing tickets for in October, just some of the hundreds of events available at VetTix.org. Every event included on this list has at least 100 donated tickets available for our veteran and military members.
