New Book Captures Family’s Struggle Against Depression And Suicide In The Military

Earlier this month, Crown published a new book called “The Invisible Front: Love and Loss in an Era of Endless War,” exploring the story of a military family that lost two sons — one to suicide and one in combat — and how the family then channeled their grief into fighting the suicide epidemic that plagues the armed forces.

David Mattingly, provides a great review of the book at War on the Rocks, as well as some valuable insight into the secondary effects of post-traumatic stress disorder on military families.
