Jennifer-Leigh Oprihory is a Washington-based freelance multimedia investigative journalist and editor whose work straddles the intersection between national security, defense, human rights and social justice. She holds an M.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications, where she focused on national security and health & science reporting. She is the former Military Times/Defense News Early Bird Editor.
