Looking for a distraction that is both adorable and dedicated to a good cause? Well, a litter of labrador retriever puppies is now being streamed on a live feed. Currently these puppies are just nursing, but when they grow up, they will be trained as service dogs for wounded veterans.
These particular puppies were bred by the Warrior Canine Connection, an organization dedicated to helping wounded warriors heal through the use of service dogs. Explore.org set up a live stream so that viewers can see how these puppies are raised.
The litter is made up of five boys and six girls, who were born April 23. When they reach eight weeks, they will be assigned to National Intrepid Center of Excellence and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda; at Fort Belvoir in Northern Virginia; and on the Menlo Park, CA campus of the Palo Alto VA Health Care System.
