A U.S. service member was killed in Afghanistan on Tuesday, Resolute Support announced.
The incident is currently under investigation.
The news comes just days after the Pentagon announced that Army Ranger Sgt. Cameron A. Meddock had died after being wounded by small arms fire during a Jan. 13 battle in northwest Afghanistan.
