Thanks to the addition of the Mercedes Unimog 4023 chassis underpinnings, this 23-foot-long behemoth is a home on wheels built to power through deep snow, flooding, and the harshest ground terrain.

“The Unimog 4023 chassis gives the EX 435 the terrain-eating chops to master virtually everything short of vertical rock walls and oceans,” wrote New Atlas travel site.

And the engine packs a punch, with a performance of231 horsepower.

According to the brochure, it perfectly conveys the German concept of “gemütlichkeit”, meaning comfort and coziness.

It has a 59 by 78-inch bed that hangs over the living space, which includes plenty of storage, a sitting area, and double burner stove. The bathroom is full-size, and has a shower cubicle, sink, and toilet.

It costs approximately $300,000, though. So even though it is probably nicer than some houses, it’s also as costly.
