Navy Capt. Brett Crozier discusses his path to becoming the commanding officer of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) in November 2019. Crozier was later relieved of command of the carrier after he wrote a letter that leaked to the media in which he pleaded with Navy leaders to evacuate sailors from the ship after COVID-19 rapidly spread onboard.
