Amid reports last month of a Army National Guard member who treated funeral detail with depressing and offensive frivolity, the photo of the day is funeral detail done right: at Arlington National Cemetery.

ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY, Va. – Soldiers of Bravo Company, 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) braved yet another brutal winter storm to lay to rest Lt. Col. Edward J. Neumann in Arlington National Cemetery, Va., March 4. Strong winds brought temperatures to well below freezing and blew snow in the faces of the Soldiers, but they remained steadfast in the duty to honor the memory of a fellow Soldier.
