On his website Guardian Of Valor, Anthony Anderson, an Army staff sergeant who served in Afghanistan, has spent the last three years calling out military posers. To date, he has “investigated” and exposed 48 fake service members.

"This sort of thing is skyrocketing – it's really an epidemic," Anderson told People magazine. "People don't recognize just how bad it is. It goes way beyond this guy walking around a mall trying to get a military discount."
