US service member killed in non-combat incident in U.A.E.
The incident is under investigation.
A U.S. military service member was killed Tuesday in a non-combat related incident in the United Arab Emirates, a press release from Marine Corps Forces Central Command said.
The service member, who has not yet been identified, was participating in Native Fury 20, a bi-annual training exercise between the Marine Corps' I Marine Expeditionary Force and the U.A.E. Armed Forces that began March 8.
The service member's name is being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin are notified.
The incident is under investigation.
