Chuck Norris contains multitudes.

He’s an Oklahoman and an Air Force vet, an actor and martial artist. The intensity of his badassery formed the basis of one of the earliest and most ubiquitous internet memes. He’s a fictional member of Delta Force and a Texas Ranger, his beard a source of such virile endurance and strength that it makes Samson’s biblical mane look like a bouquet of hobo pubes.

Now, Norris will live forever as the ultimate instrument of righteousness: an M1 Abrams tank.

On Tuesday, Norris had the pleasure of hanging with Iron Horse soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood to “film a show that will feature the M1A2 Abrams tank,” according to the 1CD’s Twitter account.

“It was our pleasure to host this production,” the 1CD said. “We’ll keep you posted when the episode will air!”

According to the Killeen Daily Herald, the show is actually a documentary series hosted by Norris and set to broadcast some time in July.

We’ll include more information on the documentary series when it becomes available. It was unclear at press time if Norris’ namesake M1 Abrams was still standing following his visit.
