In just under a month, the Defense Department should have a list of which military construction projects can be delayed in order to transfer $3.6 billion to pay for the border wall, according to a Pentagon memo obtained by Task & Purpose.

The money for the border wall comes from the Defense Department's counter-narcotics funds.
Since April, the Defense Department has committed to funding a total of 481 miles of border wall, of which more than 30 miles has been built so far.
